Bill Davidson…Head Coach/Offensive Line

Coach Davidson enters his 6th season as the Cavalier Head Coach.  Bill has a total of 31 years of coaching experience.  Coach Davidson is a graduate of Columbus Central High School and Muskingum College.  In 2006 he guided the Cavs to a state playoff appearance and was the  Southeast District Division II Coach of the Year.  In addition to his coaching Bill is the Assistant Athletic Director and teaches physical education.  Coach Davidson has been married to, CHS Alumnus, Betsy (Grey) for 28 years.  They have 2 sons; Brad ('01) and Brenton ('05).

Brad Basil… Director of Football Operations/Field Prep Co-Coordinator/Kickers  
 

Brad begins his 8th season with the Cavaliers as Director of Football Operations.  Coach Basil has 25 total years of coaching credentials.   Brad is a graduate of Hilliard High School and The Ohio State University. Has a masters from Ashland College. Brad is married to Elaine , for 24 years, and they have 3 sons; Josh ('05) , a senior at Indiana Wesleyan College, Kyle ('06). a  junior soccer player at University of Dayton, and Drew, a junior at CHS.  Brad is employed as an Industrial Technology Teacher at Adena High School.

Napoleon Cross… Community Relations Director

Coach Cross is a graduate of Southside High School and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  In addition he did his graduate work at Ouachita Baptist University.  Napoleon received his CBI certification for Kent State University and his MSED Administration from Ohio University.

Jeff Metzler…Defensive Coordinator/ Hero's/Strength Coach

Coach Metzler begins his 7th year as the defensive coordinator at Chillicothe High School and has 21 years of coaching experience. Jeff is a graduate of Circleville High School and Ohio Northern University.  Coach Metzler was the 2006 District 14 Assistant Coach of the Year. Jeff teaches C.B.I.P. at Chillicothe Middle School.  Coach Metzler is married to wife Sylvia and they have 2 children: son Justin 24, and daughter Audra 14.
 

Tom Sabo....Head JV Coach/Linebackers/QB's/Special Teams Co-Coordinator/Field Prep Co-Coordinator

Coach Sabo has 10 years of football coaching experience.  He is a graduate of Chillicothe High School and Miami Valley CTC/ABC School with a 4-year electrical degree.  Tom is currently employed in the Chillicothe School System as an Electrician.  Coach Sabo is married to Amy (7 years) and has 4 daughters, Keorsten, 11, Lillian, 6, Madisyn, 5, and Natalie, 2.

Jim Pack....Running Backs/JV Coach/Defensive Ends/Special Teams  Co-Coordinator

Coach Pack has 8 years coaching experience at the high school and jr. high levels.  He is a graduate of Portsmouth East High School and Scioto County Joint Vocational School.  Coach Pack is employed as a Dental Lab Technician and is married to Sarah.  He has two sons, Dustin, 14, and Brady, 3.

Aaron Crabtree...DB/JV Coach

Coach Crabtree has 5 years of coaching experience.  Aaron is a graduate of Chillicothe High School and The Ohio State University.  Additionally Coach Crabtree is a former Chillicothe Paint and was an assistant coach with the 1994 Baseball Cavaliers when they were Sectional, District and Regional Runner-up champs.

Bobby Kennedy...Defensive Line/JV Coach

This is Coach Kennedy's first season with the gridiron Cavs.  Bobby is a CHS graduate ('87) and holds an associate degree in Business Management from DeVry.  Coach played on Chillicothe's first playoff team and has worked 6 years with the Future Cavs program.  He has been married to Lisa for 14 years.  They have a daughter Alyssa (13).

Marcus McKillip...Recievers/TE/JV Coach

Coach McKillip joins the CHS staff for his first year of coaching.  He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Psychology.  Coach McKillip's coaching strategy:  "Hands, hands, hands, and hands."

Dennis Murphy....Equipment Manager

Coach Murphy has been with the Cavaliers for 10 season as equipment manager and has over 19 years of service with the CHS Athletic Dept.  Additionally Murph has been a long time active member of the Chillicothe Cavalier Club.  He is a graduate of Unioto High School, Southeastern Business College and is employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital.  Dennis is married to Kathy and has a son Michael and a daughter Denise.  Murph is also the owner and operator of Schmuckatelli's Grill.

Mindy Smith...Athletic Trainer

Mindy has 8 years of athletic trainer experience.  She is a graduate of Yough High School (PA), California University of Pennsylvania and Ohio University.  She is a past research presenter at the "National Athletic Trainers Conference" and is a National Trainers Scholarship Award winner.  Mindy is employed with Midwest Sports Therapy.  Coach Smith resides in Chillicothe with husband Thad and daughter, Addison Jayne.

Michael Murphy....Asst. Equipment Manager

Coach Murphy has been with the Gridiron Cavs for 6 season and has 13 years of service with the CHS Athletic Dept.  He is a graduate of Chillicothe High School and is employed at Telesis as a shipping clerk.  Michael is married to Desiree and has a two daughters, Autumn and Sarah.

Obadiah Harris...Pastor/Safe and Drug Free Coordinator

Coach Harris is a graduate of Chillicothe High School and the International Seminary.  Obadiah has been with the Cavs for 7 years.  In 2007 he won the CHS OHSAA State Award.   Additionally, Rev. Harris is a local pastor and motivational speaker.

Keith Knights....Volunteer Assistant

Keith comes into the 2008 season with 7 years experience.  Coach Knights is a graduate of St. Benedictine High School and Cleveland State University.  He also attended graduate school at Central Michigan University.  Coach Knights is the 2001-2  Triple Crown Coach of the Year and the 2006 CHS OSHAA State Award winner.  Keith works as consultant and substitute teacher.

Glenn Rinehart....Volunteer Assistant

Coach Rinehart is graduate of Chillicothe High School and and has 42 years of coaching experience.  Glenn is retired.  He has been married to wife June for 51 years.  They have 4 sons; Paul, Mike, Mark & Brian.
