to Chillicothe White - 2004 South Central Ohio Pee Week
Tackle Football League Champion!! The Chillicothe
Future Cavs program is entering its 11th season as an
organization and its 7th season as a part of the South
Central Ohio Pee Wee Tackle Football League.
Originally established as the Chillicothe Channel Cats and the
Chillicothe Blue Cats the program has over the last few years
aligned the goals of its program with the Chillicothe Schools
Football program. While aligned with the school program
the organization remains independent and relies on grants,
donations and its own fund raising to support the development
of approximately 100 local youth.
The current Future Cavs program consists of a Blue squad (JV
& Varsity) and a White squad (JV & Varsity).
Together, playing separate schedules, they play in a very
competitive Pee Wee League. Opponents include Jackson,
Vinton County, Waverly, Southeastern, Adena, Piketon and Paint
Valley. Where available, participation on any given team
is based the child's home school district.
Participation is open to all children in grades 3 through
6. Skill position participation is weight limited for
safety and competitive reasons. |
